Diana Rodriguez’s Journey

Meet Diana Rodriguez, who came to the U.S. from Latin America with a lifelong dream of becoming a biomedical engineer. Since the age of 15, Diana was passionate about becoming a biomedical engineer — but opportunities to pursue that path weren’t available in her home country.

Determined to follow her dream, she explored options across Europe and the U.S., ultimately choosing UCF for its strong research opportunities and commitment to innovation. Through UCF Global, Diana found the support she needed to transition smoothly into university life and continue her academic journey.
